Escuchen, por favor: la naturaleza y las comunidades lo agradecen – historia oral y patrimonio biocultural para la conservación y la biodiversidad

Este artículo analiza las contribuciones de la historia oral para comprender las dinámicas socioecológicas y valorar el patrimonio biocultural como dimensión esencial de la sostenibilidad. A partir de entrevistas recogidas en doce proyectos del programa Memoria para Todos, en territorios diversos — rurales, forestales, costeros, urbanos e insulares —, se exploran los vínculos entre personas, naturaleza y territorio. Las narrativas orales revelan prácticas de cuidado, saberes locales, percepciones de los cambios ambientales y un deseo reiterado de participación. Estructurado en seis ejes analíticos, el artículo sostiene que la historia oral permite captar experiencias situadas, frecuentemente ignoradas por los enfoques técnico-científicos. Las entrevistas constituyen ecologías de la memoria: dispositivos que articulan conocimiento, afectos y acción, y funcionan como herramientas de justicia ambiental, reconocimiento cultural y gobernanza democrática. Al proponer la memoria como patrimonio y mecanismo de intervención, el artículo contribuye a repensar el papel de las comunidades en las políticas ambientales y territoriales, defendiendo un enfoque inclusivo, situado y culturalmente arraigado.
